Bio
Mrs. Cynthia Cortinas is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UT Health San Antonio in 2007. Cynthia brings diverse clinical experience across neurology, cardiology, and surgical units, including time at the VA Audie L. Murphy Hospital and, most recently, Medina Regional Hospital in Hondo.
Cynthia returned to UT Health San Antonio, where she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP-FNP). She is dedicated to building strong, trusting relationships with her patients while delivering patient-centered care. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, with a focus on supporting patients in achieving their individual health goals through education, collaboration, and compassionate care. She is passionate about using advanced clinical training to improve patient outcomes and promote overall well-being.
Cynthia resides in Lytle with her husband, two daughters, and son. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering for her children at sporting events and cooking up new recipes. She is proud to serve the community she calls home.
