Medina Healthcare Fund
The Medina Healthcare Fund was established on June 6, 2003, as a 501(c)(3) organization to promote healthcare in Medina County. Funds raised by the organization have been used to pay for renovations to existing healthcare facilities, new building projects, equipment purchases, as well as programs and services at Medina Regional Hospital and its affiliated clinics. The Board consists of volunteers from Hondo, Devine, Castroville, and D’Hanis who are dedicated to raising the funds needed to maintain a strong healthcare system for their communities.
The residents of Medina and surrounding counties benefit from having a strong, viable hospital that provides a variety of healthcare services locally. Please consider donating to the Medina Healthcare Fund so that we can ensure this quality of care remains available locally.
Make a Donation in Memory or Honor of a Loved One
Have you or a loved one been impacted by the Medina Healthcare System? The team at Medina loves providing care with compassion to their neighbors, friends, and sometimes family. To recognize the lives touched or loved ones we want to celebrate, a giving tree is located in the lobby of the hospital.
This giving tree boasts several donations that recognize a gift given in honor of someone special or in memory of a loved one—it’s a wonderful way to recognize the people in your life.
All gifts of $100 or more are recognized on the donor tree in the hospital lobby. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Donate to the Annual Needs of Medina Healthcare System
The Medina Healthcare Fund is integral to the growth of health care in our region. This organization has been successful in obtaining grant funding from local and regional foundations to match the funds raised locally.
These strategic donations are matched through the generosity of the community. Annual fund donations help the Medina Healthcare Fund leverage larger funding and ultimately help raise the quality of care available at Medina Regional Hospital.
